..is what people usually say in the beginning of the year (anyways, happy new year!).
however, i'm starting this year rather calm and steadily.
as we make goals that are often reaching too far, we tend to lose gist by the time january ends,
so don't be surprised when by the time the year passes, the goals that you wrote seems out of reach.
rather than writing goals that look more like a wishlist,
write down what you can control instead- the habits that will help you fulfill that goal.
make a short term list of things to do that lead you to that end goal,
or even things that you have to stop doing, because in order for new things to come,
you must let go of the old.
so this year, i honestly do not have new goals to write,
because i am living the habits that is my goal- which is continually encouraging and inspiring people,
no matter how many (or little) the audience is.
i can't control how many eyes this message will reach, all i can do is send it out,
and despite the medium- wether it be through this blog or not- the goal remains the same.
that being said, i might not be as active here,
since my last year's goal was to post on youtube every month, and i did!
i didn't think i'd have anything interesting to share, so completing that goal was a happy relief for me.
i believe as we steward what we have in our hands now, we will be trusted for more.
so start, start with here and now, and don't let your perfectionism sabotage your purpose.
